Custom design cabinets

Custom design cabinets are essentially what we do. Whether it's a library, buffet or a large wall unit, custom bookshelf, the same principles apply — a well-designed, thought out piece which will enhance its environment.

Custom Cabinets & Shelving Melbourne

Trends are constantly evolving and this industry requires us to keep up to date with what's popular and available. However, it's equally important to maintain a knowledge of traditional styles as many clients still seek this aesthetic for their home.

Design Form started 22 years ago as fine furniture makers which has resulted in an extensive knowledge of manufacturing different styles, from French Provincial to contemporary design, and encompasses various polishing techniques and finishes.

We have fitted traditional libraries with timber ladders in beautiful old homes whilst also working extensively in the apartment marketplace fitting new joinery and custom bookshelves.

Design Form installs all over Melbourne and aims for the hi-end domestic market. We take great pleasure in making people happy with their new shoe cupboard or media unit or any other custom cabinet or shelving and love seeing the transformation of a room aided by a piece we have made.

We know the key to a successful outcome is knowing what questions to ask; how to extract the important elements so we can build a picture around your needs. Suggesting ideas is integral to the process and with this expertise, we can fulfill the brief as best as possible. We have no limitations and will consider all requests.
